Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid Product But Could Be More User Friendly Overall TurboTax Deluxe provides a trusted and reliable product. I like its step-by-step approach to cover all topics. I would like to see it improved by (1) making printing available at any time in the process, (2) the help section being less convoluted with a better search engine, and (3) eliminating the pricing games of paying for a credit up front to induce you to buy additional services or efiling the state. eFiling the state return should be offered "free" as is the Federal return.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Expensive I was going to drop my taxes off with Jackson Hewitt, but they told me it would be around $320, which sounded awfully expensive. Turbo tax ended up costing me $289. Not worth the hassle and runaround when you try and contact an expert. a lot of talk with no added benefits.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from incomplete state tax Turbo Tax Nebraska State return does not, and has not for the last three years, the State Property school credit built in. If I would have transmitted via Turbo Tax I would have lost over $1,500 of tax refund from the state. Very poor program that misses that much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Easy! Turbo Tax really makes it about as easy as you can make it for taxes. I enjoy the fact that the tool thinks through all of the possible scenarios and does all the guess work for you. I'll continue to use it every year. My only consideration is for TurboTax to not use too many third parties as sales pitches.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A glitch in a Form For the past 3 years I have had to ask to Tech Support for Form 2555. It has a glitch and did not get fixed yet and most agents are not knowledgable enough to understand and resolve it. Need supervisor.
