Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slipping in thoroughness TurboTax has been a popular tax preparation software for many years, but it seems to have slipped this year. While the new "Race Mode" feature is designed to help you finish your taxes quickly, it also includes more prompts to upgrade to premium products. Additionally, a confusing "sign over the rights to share your information" page appears twice during the process. Finally, the software skipped an income section that I have filed for the past 5 years, requiring me to go back and manually add it. While TurboTax is still easier to use than paper forms, the value of the software is starting to be questionable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is the Way to Go Hi! I used the tax advisor online to help me with a question I had on doing investment prooperty purchases and sales with handling deductions. She did a fabulous job in asking approopriate questions and providing definitive answers. Way to Go!

Normally everything goes pretty smooth, but this year, TT could not find last year's tax return, nor did it acknowledge we used 1040-SR, and did not recommend it to us this year. Really concerned why it did not find last year's return as used the same computer and used Premier last 3 years!!???

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is pretty Good It would be nice if TurboTax Business had a download feature as in TurboTax Deluxe. I use the former for a trust. It shouldn't take too much effort to adapt Deluxe's download feature for the Estate and Trust portion of TurboTax Business. Although I do realize that only a small portion of TurboTax Business users would benefit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst experience in years I felt that the most difficult part of filing my taxes this year was navigating through the never-ending upsell adds that were deceptively disguised as part of the tax filing process. I have ALWAYS used TurboTax to file my taxes, but after this year I will likely be switching to a new tax tool.
