Rated 3 out of 5 by from What is it I pay more and more for each year? Your program is loaded with ads for your own programs continually popping up throughout the process. Rates continue to climb and this year is even more. So, on top of rising prices and stagnating wages you feel its appropriate to charge unreasonable amounts for your programs. Last year I got stiffed by you for a purchased program and this year you have additional fees. Last year for turbotax.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overcharging more each year I've been a loyal TT customer for almost 20 years. Each year they jack up the price and continually make me upgrade during the process of entering information. Technically, I would qualify for the free version but the cheapest they offer me is the Deluxe. Then it wouldn't let me add my expenses for an independent contractor position without upgrading to Premium and paying $120. That didn't even include state. They jacked up the state price to $59 with no other options except to delete it and not file. UGH!!!!!! We ended up getting screwed out of $178 just to file. We could have gone to an accountant for that price. I'm done!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stop Terrible UI, clunky and unhelpful. The interface is so cold and heartless that it made my wife burst into tears. This service is designed to do just that, yall know it, and it shouldn't exist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A seamless, quick experience AGAIN I was going to use a free service. I got to the end to find that I owed a lot. I came over to TurboTax to see if it was an error, but alas, I do owe that much. BUT, TurboTax was able to explain to me in a bit more detail, which I found valuable (like, why I owed that much AND told me there was a penalty for not withholding enough, which the other service did not tell me). All that and they still did not charge me! Fantastic. This is why I keep coming back.
