Contrary to what everyone says, no service on TurboTax is free. They charge for everything, and they only give you assistance services with the program if you pay more money. This year, I barely had enough in my bank account to pay for the efile. So I chose to use my return, and oddly enough, they told me I couldn't use my return to pay. I won't be coming back to TurboTax next year. Very poor experience, don't waste your time.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
