But for many others, this does not work (at least on the Mac version). TurboTax does not handle form 8990, which is needed for individual investors that receive a K-1. I will note that your competitor TaxAct does handle form 8990. It seems excessive to charge $45 for each additional state, especially since the implementations are often incomplete and require use of the forms method.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
