TurboTax has always been great for me and my husband, but this year our daughter was not our dependent and TurboTax would not let her use the EZ form despite the fact that she meets the EZ qualifications (less than $100K income, no dependents, no deductions).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Difficult Task Made Less Painfull I have used Turbo Tax for several years. It is much easier and faster than trying to do it myself and wading through a ton of forms and information. I would like to get more clarification on why some deductions are rejected. Also it should not keep asking over and over to do the state tax return. One "no thanks" should be sufficient.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax review My tax expert, Korah, was great he helped me with several questions and I was to file 2 state returns and my federal return with confidence. The overall turbotax experience , however was not pleasant. I know I want itemize deductions, but rather than being able to select that directly, I was lead through a series of questions that eventually concluded that I was indeed better off itemizing. This added 45 minutes to the preparation time. You can do better turbotax.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Need to get their act together When I tried to purchase Turbo Tax through thier on website, I was unable to do so and and after spending hours on the phone with a rep finally ordered it cheaper from Amazon. Then when trying to charge my card for State e-filing, I had the exact same problem with trying to pay for the charge. There is nothing wrong with my address (obviously since I purchase many items online - thus the purchase from Amazon!) so I am having to file my taxes by snail mail. Will be looking for other options next year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! I upgraded to Live Assisted Premier so I could speak with someone via Chat as I was getting a major error regarding my state return. I connected with Chiquita D, who went through each line item, step by step, until she found the error. She kept me informed along with way and was gracious and patient and lovely. Error was fixed and I can breathe a sigh of relief. Please recognize Chiquita for her hard work and dedication. And thank her for me!
