Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very simple to use the software This year seemed very simple. The only thing that is confusing is the fact that W is on the same high deductible medical plan as N. N is the policy holder. For some reason it is confusing haw the questions are asked about W participation in the plan. May want to look at this part of your software next year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use Turbo tax is very easy to use. It makes taxes easy to prepare nd understand. Turbo tax could be improved by explaining up front in clear terms what a simple return is and is not. Also third party fees need to be stated up front, before a lot of information has been inputted. People may not want to pay an additional fee. Other than that, turbo tax is great at finding all discounts and making sure the return is accurate.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Links and directions are not as user friendly. I have done my own taxes my entire life with the exception of 1 year. I have been using the turbo tax program since it became available with the exception of 1 year. As long as you are filing a simple return it is great. My return has become more complex with the adddition of rent properties. with the sale of 1 of the properties this year, the program was anything but helpful! I ended up having to do a lot of outside research in order to finish and only hope I got it right. I tend to only put my information in in small chunks and it would be helpful if it were easier to put in the information as it becomes available.
