Turbo Tax said it was best for us to take the "Federal Standard Deductions" [Which Yes, it was] BUT then filling out California taxes Turbo Tax wanted me to "GO BACK" and fill in the Federal itemized deductions as the may apply to California. When I tried to "GO BACK" Turbo Tax said my best option was to take the "Standard Deductions" and so I did not "Itemize" for California. After researching on-line the California deductions did not apply to us. Would have been nice to know with out the research confusion.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Expensive!! TurboTax was easy to use, but online version is more expensive than buying software thru Amazon. Also no way to convert online data to installed version once you have started the online version.

This year it kept freezing on me it did not automatically get last years return and transfer all information. I could not update until I shut down and restarted my computer. My MacBook is only 2 years old! Overall navigation was hard to use. AGAIN I HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR A LONG TIME. DISAPPOINTING.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to use a couple times it glitched and kicked me off but i was able to get back on and finish. overall it was easy to use and i can go at my own pace as i am disorganized, lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax used to be easy to use. I found Turbo Tax to be confusing to use, particularly concerning that I retired Dec 31, 2021. Turbo Tax insisted that I had to retire in 2022. Consequently, it kept asking me to provide information on the use of my vehicle for work. I wasn't able to file electronically until I deleted my job as a real estate agent on the system which compared 2021 and 2022 income.
