Rated 3 out of 5 by from FRUSTERATED & Going back to my tax professional 30+ years of filing taxes and this was the first time we have been eligible to file without our business so we thought we would save $ money doing it ourselves. Unfortunately, there was nothing simple about it. Even the explanations are in accountant speak most of the time requiring me to Google the meanings myself. And several of the items had no explanation at all. Unfortunately, we purchased 2 years worth at the same time so we have to do it all again now. We will be spending a little bit more and going to an actual tax professional from now on! Additionally, the Audit protection we tried to purchase said its unavailable (which was the main reason for choosing TurboTax over the others) so now that was a waste of our time and money.

YOUR APP LOCKED ME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT SO I COULDN'T LOG IN SO I HAD TO MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT LAST YEAR AND NOW I'M NOT EVEN IN YOUR SYSTEM AT ALL. SO THIS WILL BE THE LAST YEAR I USE TURBOTAX

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is Terrific for Taxes Grateful for the expertise of Oscar, who helped tremendously in clarifying my semi-complex tax filings. He was patient, he asked pertinent questions to understand my situation, and then fully understanding helped in the way a true expert should. Joi B, on the other hand, was a colossal nightmare. She came on the chat, took inordinate time "reviewing" without delving into my situation, and then came back and abruptly quit / left the chat. (I have the screenshot of the interaction to prove it.) If you should encounter Joi B, QUIT! Hopefully you'll luck out and get Oscar instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it was great until we had to e-file it took us 2 hours to e-file. there was a $25 e-file fee for maryland. it took an hour to get pass that screen. i don't understand why there is a fee. all web pages and computer applications are getting way to complicated.
