Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pricier than it should be but reliable The price seems to go up and up. I only made 30k this year and owed 1k in taxes and the service was going to cost 20% of what i owe. Seems a bit steep. Thankfully customer service was helpful and gave me a break.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Basically took my whole return Yeah, I knew I was gonna have a smaller return this year, but this service basically took all of it for how much the service costs. I thought it was free, but whatever. I was already so far in the process before they told me and I just wanted my taxes done so I just let it happen. But yeah, I'm still pretty disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Review. It's Great. I love the automation and how it finds deductions, like the qualified buisiness deduction and the CT property tax deduction. I didnt even know about the CT deduction, which took $300 off my state amout due. Also, the investment downloads from my brokerage accounts are so easy.

I've filed taxes several years and haven't had to pay the Turbo Tax fee when I file because I pay for it through the year with the bundle. This year, despite having the bundle, I had to pay $130 to file my taxes

Cannot run these two TurboTax products on same computer: TurboTax Business for LLC and TurboTax Home and Business for personal and freelance consulting (1099 not through LLC) 2. Poorly worded questions (e.g., beginning capital balance versus capital balance at beginning of year; the way phrased is ambiguous - what was the member's investment when the company was started? or what was their portion of capital at beginning of the year?) 3. Cyclic review at the end. The software continually requests a second review, even after clicking "Review Again" multiple times. 4. Saving PDF requires you to use the folder where the .tax2022 file is, so why not just force the user to use that folder instead of requesting the user select a folder, only for any folder selected, except the one where the .tax2022 file is, leads to "cannot save file" error. 5. Fails to copy same information. The personal TurboTax copies numbers from one form to the next ... in most cases. With Business, I found I had to write numbers down, because often the software didn't copy the number (e.g., profit from normal operations) or entered the wrong number as I transitioned forms.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a pain This is my 8th year with Turbotax. They have never been successful at e-filing for me. This year, because I uploaded photos of my W-2s they claimed they would be able to. I gave exactly the info they asked for, and repeatedly. My state and Feds rejected the filing. I have wasted at least an additional hour over mailing my returns with checks. The people you speak with seems helpful , but in the end there was little real help I received to aid me with my returns, meaning I pain a lot more money that was necessary. They don't maintain your old returns so if you have to reference them they can't see them and can't help. You have to look it up and give the information. I'm looking for another service next year.
