Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Texas I would be helpful if the program was in the same format as the prior year as this makes it confusing, I never able to merge last year years information which would have saved some time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but could be better. The software works great, generally. But I would prefer to see the numbers on my return rather than on your worksheets. After looking at the return, I saw a mistake. I thought I had corrected it, but didn’t scroll far enough to see the “Confirm” button. I wasted at least half an hour trying to view the corrected return. It would not come up. I went back. Saw the correction was still there, scrolled and scrolled. Saw the button and problem solved. Either make you input pages shorter or the confirm button more accessible. Otherwise, you did a good job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax makes my tax life so easy! Aside from too many prompts to upgrade, Turbo Tax just keeps getting better every year!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just glad it is over. Doing the actual return was fairly easy. I had to do this for my mom's estate, which by nature is going to be difficult due to the pain of loss. I thought having to us Turbo Tax business was kind of overkill. I mean, it is expensive at $190. Then I had to pay another $55 for the state return only to find out that I didn't need to do a state return due to the small size (monetarily) of the estate. So that made me feel a little ripped off. Like they could tell you that up front. Then I got to a point where it is asking for Special Name Control for the estate. I couldn't find a definition or reference to that anywhere. It was not on the letter from the IRS with the EIN for the estate. So I just used the initials of the name. I couldn't tell why it was telling me to do a form for the carry back or carry forward amount of the loss either. So I submitted without that. I planned to e-file, but there is a form that needs an ink signature and then has to be scanned for including with the online submittal. I am at my dad's, and I couldn't get his printer to work. So I went to a Staples to print and scan. More running around than I expected. But it is done now. I expect it to go easier next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is horrible Turbo Tax nickeled and dimed us constantly. Oh you need this for $119, oh you need this for $59. Last year state returns were included. See where you don't advertise free free free and more. I will definitely go somewhere else next year for doing our taxes. It is horrible on how you treat your paying customers
