Rated 1 out of 5 by DREADEDSCORPIO from FREE IS NOT FREE I was made to pay to file my dead fathers taxes simply because I have to send the irs a separate 1 page document that turbo tax has nothing to do with. I was charged over 100 dollars to file what was a free simple return. I refused to file state with turbo tax or it would have cost me over 200 dollars to file again what should have been free returns BEWARE OF THEM CHARGING YOU TO FILE A SIMPLE RETURN!!!!

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
