Rated 1 out of 5 by from The opposite of helpful Vague and not helpful. At one point got stuck in a loop where it was asking me to fill in information and then later remove it. It asks you to upgrade to their more expensive options every step of the way. I get the impression they actually want it to be more difficult so that you pay for the upgrade. The "more information" links dont go into any details and I end up using google to figure out what info is required which makes me question why I am using this service in the first place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As easy as taxes can get I've used Turbo Tax for the second year in a row. Taxes are never simple, but at least TurboTax makes them easy. The program definitely found money I wouldn't have had I filed hard copies on my own. More than made up for the cost, and then some, and then some. Being able to pay to add my state refund is a huge plus as well.

I hate that I use it but the confusion of the US tax system and the fear that I may make a mistake on my return keeps me coming back. This year they charged the same fee for less, putting their LIVE help line behind a pay wall. I'm so excited for the day I can be rid of you, INTUIT.
