Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lobbyists Ruin Everything I have used the desktop version for years. I used the online version this year. I am SHOCKED at the increase in price for simply having a few hundred dollars in stock profit. That profit went entirely to pay for TurboTax. Then I see that there are different discounts depending on random things. All of this is completely unnecessary, since I didn't enter a single bit of information that the financial institutions didn't already know. Coupled with the fact that the tax rates for me went up with the Standard Deduction. Ugh!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Program sucks The system inported on of my W2's with the State information exactly like it was on the W2. That caused an error and all the W2 info for the STate was incorrect. I went back over the W2 info in the Federal SEVERAL times. I finally had to delete the W2 and basically start over. The system wouldn't even let me do a paper file, It was stuck in a loop. There no number for help or the help button is basically worthless.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax has gone downhill over the last few years Turbotax has been getting increasingly worse over the last five years. It is becoming more prone to errors. It is becoming more difficult to check its calculations on the forms because there is very little explanation as to why it is calculating certain entries and in most cases it will not allow you to edit the forms when you catch a mistake.

There were times the same information ended up being reloaded, more than three times I was in a closed cycle, It looks like you are trying to make a game out of it. I would like you to go back to the nononsense fill in the blank see the progress program you had for so many years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great App, issues with discounts applying The app itself is easy to use. My issues were with 3 options I had to do my processing at discounted rates. All options redirect me to the app or site, yet none applied and had no code to manually enter.
