Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is a great user-friendly software. I have used TurboTax for 8 years. The process has been easy to follow and instructions clear and to the point. The review and checking for mistakes steps are very helpful too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy, my grandson could do it! I have been using TurboTax for years now, but this year my grandson offered to help me do them. Not only did he do it correctly, he helped me through faster than I would have completed them otherwise! I love TurboTax, and I recommend this software for all ages. (My grandson typed this review!)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Tax Software, Downgrading Needs to be Fixed The only thing I have against Turbo Tax is that they make it very easy to Upgrade your software choice, but the last 2 years I did not need the expense of the Premium software. It is extremely difficulty to downgrade software without starting a new account. Intuit/Turbo Tax you need to improve this. Should be easy to go either way. I think it is a more money thing with you or you would have already built this into your software. Otherwise, it is great software for tax filing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Year using TurboTax - No stars if I could It was so horrible, total change to Site format, I didn't like it (tax year 2021 had the best format and was so great last year); the help search and not being able to log in and stay logged in 2 days before final deadline was a huge hassle; NONE of the Help Search/Topics were working at this time; Everything seemed to be up and running again finally 1 day before the tax deadline; the increase in cost by $40 since last year is horrible as well; will definitely rethink how I will file next year, a huge disappointment this year from TurboTax.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax makes it easy! I'm always anxious about taxes, but Turbo Tax makes it so much easier! It doesn't cost that much and they take you through everything. Plus, if you don't understand something, the tutorials really do a good job of breaking it down for you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to Use but pricey for being simple This is easy to use if you have easy taxes to report. I have a basic return, just have my income from 1 job and no other big things to do. It is too pricey for what I used it for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It's easy to use, but you HAVE to use Premium I'm about as blue collar as it gets, and my taxes are pretty simple: all I have is a single W-2. Yet, the ONLY option I get is to use the premium service. They also charge $39.99 to take the payment for premium AND to file both state and federal out of your refund. Turbo Tax use to have good free services for simple tax refunds. I guess that's changed with inflation too. If I hadn't waited until the last minute to file my taxes, I would have used a different service. Instead, I get to spent over TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS of my refund to file with them. Never again.
