Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is so easy to use! TurboTax was incredibly easy to navigate! I loved the helpful windows on the side when I had questions about certain sections, and the moments where they helped me think through ways of getting larger tax returns.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Experience - Could Not E-File Was not able to e-file, nothing changed in my status compared to previous years when I easily e-filed via TurboTax. I do not have W-2 as I work and live overseas full time. 1040 would not populate multiple fields therefore it is forcing me to file by mail....from Hungary. No live help unless I pay another 65 USD. Disappointed

While the majority of the autofill process is enjoyable and much more simple than filing by hand, there were several bumps in the road along the way that became immensely frustrating by the time I was finished. The first of two big issues was the cost to file a 1099 for crypto. Despite TurboTax having the full capability to tackle the details of that form, it is still paywalled behind a $180 "upgrade" charge that simply allows the site to perform what it could definitely do for free. TurboTax has to make money somehow, but it still feels egregious. The second was a small hiccup that caused an infinite loop in the state review process. One page would ask me to review, which would bring me back to a page that couldn't be edited in any way, which would bring me back to the review page when I hit continue. After an hour and a half of bashing my head against the wall, the only way I could proceed was by unticking the only available box on screen. Hopefully my return doesn't get sent back because of that. While those two problems did ruin the entire experience, the rest of the process is actually extremely helpful and one of the better options out there. The cherry on top was the "Race Mode" that timed how long it would take me to file saying that I was in the "top 100% of filers" in terms of speed. Enjoy the day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Peasy I like doing my taxes on Turbo Tax. Easy to find answers to ant Federal or State question I might have. I love that they can know take money directly from my checking account to pay for the amount I owe the State. I would like them to add to the front of Turbo Tax documentation the items needed as proof of who you are before files are electronically filed. Like wiII need prior year's AGI and state driver's license
