Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I have used Turbotax for over 4 years. I used it when I was w2 employee, tested it out my first year as 1099 and loved how easy it was. I've continued to use it and do not plan to use any other tax filing product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is getting ridiculous It used to be free to file a simple return. Now its 60. Not only that, I have to see all these adds every other screen trying to upsell me to max. Then it seems like you want all this extra info so I can be bothered by more companies trying to get more money I don't have. Here is an idea. Keep it simple and affordable for hard working/broke Americans. Times are hard. Ill enter my few boxes and e-file. That's it. If I didn't have the last decade of my tax info with turbo tax, I would have already dropped it and went another route. I think next year Ill do just that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from refund part of the 'File' section needs lots work Very difficult navigation when attempted to use my refund to buy an I-bond and also to use part of the refund to apply to next years taxes. Almost impossible to see how to do it. I had to call Intuit for assistance. And then when I bought the bond before applying part of the refund to the next year's taxes, the bond purchase was cancelled. I had to redo it but in reverse order to have it work!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax was extremely helpful !! We had a particularly eventful year and I knew filing taxes this year was going to be difficult. Thank goodness for Turbo Taxes live chat I was able to ask enough questions I needed to get thru our Federal form, but when it came to our State Tax forms I was able to converse with a live tax preparer. Terence was very knowledgeable, patient and understanding. He took his time and didn't rush thru anything that I didn't understand. I've used Turbo Tax for over 5 years and have never been disappointed with their service.
