Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would Not Start/Process CA Return after download Software glitch in Turbotax would not allow me to do my CA return. Downloaded the "free" software, but would not start the state forms nor transfer over any info from 1040. Kept in an infinite loop of start state return, asked to download software, told me software is up to date, and then sent back to start state return screen again. Will either have to completely redo my return and try it again, or do my CA100 by hand. Terrible outcome on tax day.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do you test? We really like to use Turbo Tax - have for years. Yet there are still GLARING usability issues particularly in the filing portion of your system. Check boxes are formatted such that 'continue' boxes are NOT visible. Very illogical and confusing explanations. Repetitive presentations that make you wonder what the heck you are asking for .....again. Give me a call and I'll be glad to help you SEE all of this

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax, like the others just more expensive. The price for the same exact services went up about 40% this year as compared to last year. If they keep this up they will not have me as a customer next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Overpriced, always problems, I have been using Turbotax for many years. Last few years I have had to miss filing dates because they could not update the required forms in time. Got a notice from irs saying I owe previous taxes when the software said I owed none. Cussomer service said " no idea, you will have to contact the irs because our software is not wrong." But yet i still have a tax bill for my company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Updating every time you use the program the constant updating of the program makes the program useless and the updating process usually fails requiring manual updates. Probably going to a competitor next year
