Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best experience I used this product because I really needed an advance payment on my refund. I was already completed with the taxes and had paid for the product when it said I was not going to get an advance. Not only am I now waiting for the return but I am out the fees as they were required in advance rather than taken from my return. It was a really low blow at a time when I have major issues that could have been easily resolved if the advance had been given as I was believing the entire time that it would be. I cannot imagine I will be using this product again as I feel that I was led to believe I was being given an advance amd I think it was handled in a way that feels very much like an intentional misrepresentation so that people will have already spent time and money and would be unlikely to want to try to both start completely over on your taxes that they’ve already spent all the time to complete and seek a refund which is a process that very few companies make very transparent to begin with. I found I had a lot of technical issues that delayed a process and frankly, I’m unclear if my returns were sent yet as the information regarding the date is confusing. I submitted on 5 January as this was indicated as being the date it was first available and I’m seeing in other places now something about 24 January so I do not know if my return has been submitted to the IRS yet and they are still holding any pending status or if I just transmit it to TurboTax who is holding it internally and will submit it on the 24th. That stresses me out a lot because I have never submitted return and seen it continue to sit in the pending status for a week or more causes me to wonder is there a problem? Is there a problem with the date or is there a problem with the submission? I have tried to ask this question, but the option that I am given is only, the option of check back after you get your return, or pay the full price for a live consultant, which makes no sense to me right now because I’ve already completed the taxes, paid for it, upfront, been denied my advance, and now I’m being asked for more money in order to ask a simple question . Not giving one star here only because it seems like the software works well enough but I should actually consider doing one star because I would think that the reviews should be after the return if my questions have to be answered after the return. It seems one sided to ask for this review before I see the results and that makes me wonder how unrealistic the results of this survey are if all the people reading this product haven’t even seen the end result of their work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is great This is my first time filing on turbo tax. It is very user-friendly. I was having a little difficulty and a Live Agent by the name of Nicola helped me. She was very professional and patient with me. Her customer service is excellent.
