Maybe a clear instruction page at the beginning that discusses Revenue from Operations, Other Income, Interest Income, Gain/Loss on Sale of Assets, and whether Depreciation should be included in Operating Income from Operations.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
