Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had a hard time this year with quite a few errors We had quite a hard time filing a simple tax 1099-NEC with standard deductions return and ended up getting charged over 80.00 for this. Plus, there were errors in the 1099-NEC which confused us and took a while to figure out it was an error on the system side, and also we were unable to delete RITA which was impossible to file with Turbo Tax. We spent 2 hours with all of this - it should have taken 20 minutes. Disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st Time Filing First time filing federal taxes, this was very easy to do. I thought it was going to be a lot harder to use Turbo Tax but not was I wrong. Definitely will be using Turbo Tax from now on.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Glitch in the system regarding Affordable Care Act Usually I love TurboTax, but this year it was incredibly frustrating. The IRS has a new auto kickback if it thinks you have insurance under the Affordable Care Act, ACA, but you didn't submit the relevant form (1095 or 8962). In other tax filing systems, there's a place where you can leave an explanation for not having this form, but TurboTax doesn't have one. You just have the form or it tells you to ignore it, and then your returns get kicked back 3 times in a row. Even worse, TurboTax has a weird thing happening where even if you answer "no" to having insurance under the ACA, it switches itself to "yes." The "experts" say it's not a glitch, and that there's an already started form you need to delete. Well I did that, and it still didn't work. Finally resorted to using a work around. HOPING it goes through, 4th time around. Search around in the help forums--I'm not the only one having this issue. Hope they get it fixed for next year!
