Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick, Easy, Able to Help This is the first year I've used Turbo Tax. I had been using a tax service but changes in my income have made it so I don't have to deal with itemized deductions. I didn't want to spend $161 to get back a small amount of $ (making my refund even smaller)!. I had questions about student loan interest and an expert did an online chat with me and answered all my questions quickly and clearly. The one thing I will say, is to make sure you have your previous year's tax forms available as Turbo Tax needs some information from them in order for the filing. Otherwise, it's easy to use, I completed it very quickly and feel confident that it was filed correctly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, not great I've given this feedback before. You really ought to speed up or shorten the animations. I like that they're cheeky and positive but the last thing I want to do when I've been staring at this computer for hours is watch another 10 seconds of lines turning green as they're "checked over". I watched it three times bc my return got rejected twice since there was no prompt for me to enter anything from my 1095A. A bit much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The Fees killed my return I'm not sure how I can make 50k, claim 0 and get back the pitiful return that I did. Not to mention I had to pay $200 in fees just to file with turbo tax. $120 to file for 2 states is absurd. I will no longer be using turbo tax after this year. I can literally file anywhere else for cheaper. I used to love using TT but you guys are killing me with these ridiculous fees.

I had been using a tax service but changes in my income have made it so I don't have to deal with itemized deductions.
