Rated 3 out of 5 by from disappointed should have paid attention that state not included. I did realize it was basic and not meant for itemizing I .paid 39.00 then for a state upgrade it requested an additional 45.00. a total of 84.00 all in The deluxe can be purchased for 59.00including state.If you know you will be taking the standard deduction ,have basic incomes and also wish to proceed with state taxes buy the deluxe. I will consider other software next year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too much money for ESPP TurboTax forced me to "upgrade" to a higher version because I had proceeds from and ESPP. Then when it was time to get that data imported from Fidelity, the cost basis and sale dates were consistently wrong. I had to manually adjust each of 20+ transactions to get the proper cost basis. If I had taken the standard input, I would have increased my tax liability. In other words, for $20 EXTRA, TT nearly lost me thousands of dollars! I wish it just gave me the direct form and let me enter it directly instead of leading me to believe the numbers it interpreted were correct.
