Every year we rely on Turbo Tax to guide us through the tedious process (it would be more so doing it the old way!) of filing our federal taxes. On year we made the mistake of going with another option, and were sorry that we did. We're loyal Turbo Tax users for life!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh! Turbo Tax Deluxe had some sort of error this year. The summary sheet had incorrect information and the addition on the page was wrong. I spoke with a representative who could not explain or correct the error on the summary sheet, though it did appear that the actual numbers on the tax forms were correct. Additionally, having to pay a $40 fee for direct deposit was an unwelcome surprise that I do not recall encountering in previous versions of Turbo Tax. I will seriously have to reconsider using Turbo Tax in the future.
