Rated 1 out of 5 by CJM23 from E-filing doesn't work I find that turbo tax to be unreliable when it comes to e-filing. The e-filing has failed the past 2 years. Although you get an email telling you that the e-file has failed, it doesn't tell you why or how to make changes to make it work. I'm going to be researching other options for next year especially since the cost to purchase the software is high and you have to pay to have state taxes e-filed.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
