Rated 4 out of 5 by from New To Turbotax Taxes were kinda intimidating to me after taking a personal finance class and not quite getting it. But Turbotax made it a little less so :) It asked all the questions that were important or left an option with clear info. Sometimes a bit too many options, but I appreciate the thoroughness. Some explanations were a bit long-winded or used words I didn't quite understand without looking it up. Otherwise I liked my first time using turbotax on my own. Thank you!

The app is a little clunky on the phone in terms of notifications that your rep had sent you a message. I'd receive text and email alerts (both at significantly different times) and both well after my rep had messaged me. Rep answered most all of my questions and was generally quicker to respond than I was. I would have like to have seen the rep be a little more proactive and recommend a voice/video call up front so we could cover most of the bases/expectations from the onset of the process.
