Every year I answer the questions, then get error messages in the error check, with NO CLUE OR GUIDANCE on how to make the correct entries. Why can't it automatically take these numbers from my Fidelity imported data?

Wants to sign you up for higher level and doesn't make it clear how to get package that I want (I wanted free, kept recommending Plus (Okay, they want to make money) clicked on "Not this" or whatever it was to finally get to the free edition, very misleading. The rest was a breeze as it was in the past.

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free yourself with TurboTax Free Edition, or you can file with TurboTax Live Assisted Basic or TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
