Rated 2 out of 5 by from Each Year Gets More Slimy I've been filing with TurboTax for nearly 10 years and it started as an easy and free way to file. Then it went from free to, well relatively cheap, to now its just getting expensive. To top it off they now charge a fee to file using your refund amount. This used to be free, now it isn't. And to make it better they don't make it easy to inform you they're charging you a convenience fee to do so. They use technical verbiage that you don't know what you're agreeing to and then get slapped with a $44 fee and unless you look into the breakdown of what they're charging, you wouldn't know why their service went from $89 to file to $128. Do better TurboTax before you start losing customers. There are other avenues to move onto if your prices keep increasing.

Overall it's a pretty smooth program, but when you go to check your return and it finds an error, instead of bringing you back to that page so you can clearly see what the issue is and fix it, it just tells you to enter the correct amount for, we'll just say, line 51. But you have no clue what line 51 means so you hit google trying to figure out what this means. It really slows down the process. And this happens at least once every year we use TurboTax. And we called for help and they didn't even know what this meant either, so that should tell you something. They need to fix this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I LIKE KNOWING IT'S GUARANTEED I never feel comfortable doing my own taxes, although I have for the past few years. This was less work for me, and I have peace of mind knowing they were done by an expert and are guaranteed to be correct.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from bad bad bad system not let me pay $25 YOUR system not let me pay $25 e-filing fee when I key in billing info. had tried many times. TurboTax's IT people did not do the job well. I was happy use TT for over 15 years. but not this year at all (2021).

I used to use a CPA for all my personal and business taxes but I got sick of paying $700/year since my business doesn't really make all that much money. I heard about TurboTax and tried it out and found it so easy to use that I was kicking myself for not using it sooner. I LOVE TURBOTAX!!!
