Rated 1 out of 5 by from Greedy, greedy, greedy I bought the intuit Turbo tax from costco thinking I was getting it without having to pay for the State to efile Thats why I bought it. $25.00 dollars to efile the state while the fed is free to efile. Read the fine print. It allows you to do the state but to efile is another $25.00. Keep throwing money at you guys always trying to get more!!!! Price keeps going up more and more. ALso if you wait longer it charges you more. My kids I can do for free, but if you don't know that you would end up paying $25.00 for each kid for the basic platform. Very Low you are for that move.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Marginal explanations were not very comprehensive and found it difficult to navigate and find some categories like general casualty losses, particularly as it relates to automobiles.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Like Turbotax less every year I hate all the surprise filing fees and program fees at the end. Plus, it doesn't handle K-1 forms very well and its always frustrating to make it work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Many Hidden Fees! I bought the TurboTax download from Amazon. They made it sound like I could file my Federal and state taxes for $45, but this is far from true. They bring up multiple hidden fees throughout the process. They know that once you've already paid the $45 and put in your information, that you just decide to keep going despite the fees. By the end of it, it cost me about $220 to file my Federal and state taxes, because of extra fees that are not disclosed upfront like a fees for e-filing and processing the refund. Companies should be paid fairly for the services they provide, but be upfront and honest about the total price at the beginning!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Piece of cake Everything was easy. 2 issues noted. The info for 2020 disaster relief distribution from retirement account needed for 2022 filing wasn't clearly found - had to use the excellent online help/phone call to find it and confirm accuracy. Last year (2021) the process of seeing the info through the step by step info entry was way more clear. Issue number 2, Turbotax never asked me for the IRS identity theft PIN. Had to use the help menu to find where to enter in since it was never asked for

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax for Connecticut still has issues 1.) TurboTax did not pick up that Box 14 was CTPL (Connecticut Paid Family Leave) - it did not have that as one of the choices later. 2.) On my Connecticut 1099R TurboTax did not pick up that my Box 1 (Gross Distributions) should have been treated the same as Box 1 on my 1099 (Wages, Tips and other Comp.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax is great with tax details. Had difficulties getting program downloaded on my Mac and then no record anywhere of my 2021 return. Caused a lot of extra work. But I do love how you enter data once and Turbotax shoots it to all applicable forms. Tech support people who I called several times were great.
