Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is perfect for our simple returns We are retired on fixed incomes and TurboTax asks all the questions we need to accurately complete our returns. We've used the online service for 4 years and never been disappointed. Much less expensive than going to an accountant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I thought I'd have to find a tax accountant This year we bought a fixer upper house the day Covid quarentine started and we had to draw our retirement funds and unemployment to cover our bills. When I started Turbo Tax I owed six thousand dollars in taxes! I heard there were tax accomodations due to Covid, called the Turbo Tax live accountant Sandra with 25 years experience (who called me back within one minute!) She was so helpful and answered all of my questions and we ended up getting a thousand dollars in refund. Whew! So thankful

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I can't recommend this enough! The online service is SO EASY, it explains everything in detail, with notes for the confusing parts along the way. I'm used to it being this straightforward for "simple" taxes, but I just filed my self-employment tax with the same ease- it felt like someone was there talking me through it! Totally worth the price, totally worth the time. 10/10 recommend, and I'll be using this service next year for sure!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Software I have used Turbo tax for 9 years now and have never been forced to upgrade with no increased return. It is not right that if I contribute to a retirement fund that I should be forced to upgrade. All of that money has already been taxed. I also think it is excessive to charge $40 to withdraw that upgrade fee from my federal returns. I'll probably look into other options for next year
