Rated 2 out of 5 by from Needs some improvements In general, TurboTax is a great way to file one's tax return. This year, though, I had some problems that could have been avoided. First, it wasn't clear from the beginning that I had the choice to file either online or use desktop software. Second, after spending $30 to be able to import my cryptocurrency information, I discover that the desktop version does NOT allow for cryptocurrency input. The workaround for this meant I had to re-do the return I had already started. TurboTax needs to make it CLEAR that if using the desktop version of their software, purchasing the Premier version will NOT allow you to get the crypto assistance.
