Rated 5 out of 5 by from TURBO TAX IS FANTASTIC Everyone with which I spoke and dealt was great with excellent and accurate advice and information. The Live Tax Expert with whom I dealt was Walter. He helped me settle a few issues I had remaining and finalize the return. The issues were mainly regarding losses suffered due to Hurricane Michael. He was very patient, thorough and accurate. He helped make what was becoming an ordeal into a reasonably pleasant experience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax Is Getting Worse I've used Turbo Tax for 15 years. The last several years the program is getting more difficult to navigate and will skip sections, such as rental property expenses. It is not easy finding that section on the menu. Second, I tried about 6 times to reset my PW, re-entering the emailed pin number, only to be redirected to put in my current PW that I did not know and was trying to rest. The whole point of PW reset is to establish a new PW. I called customer support (which apparently is non existent at Intuit) and was transferred to PW assistance where I was promptly disconnected. I eventually filed my taxes as a guest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is a Good Product Been using TTax for more than 20 years and it gets better each year although the constantly evolving tax code blunts some of that progress. Downloading financial data from banks and brokerages is great. I will continue to use TTax in coming years but it's not perfect, yet. TTax should provide global default entries for sections that I do not use. TTax's prompts for additional info in obscure parts of the app (such as K-1's) are often confusing and incompletely defined. TTax's error checking often requests additional data for primary entries that are zero. TTax determines I can't e-file but at the very end encourages me to e-file. Some straightforward queries and entries are not copied from prior years although they should be and then highlighted for current year changes, if any.
