The sole purpose for this is to keep customers dependent and totally ignorant of what the actual tax forms look like. At various stages throughout, tries to find ways to default opt you in to selling your private information and/or paying for extra services you do not need. Truly an exploitative company.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is the worst, but we all already knew it Truly the worst. Once in the system, you are constantly being faced with messages to upsell to new pricier products. When you do get to the end you are told that you can't file without upgrading because of normal life events.
