Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don’t think I’m using next year At first I was excited to hear that this year TurboTax was offering a live feature with a real person. I was debating on getting my taxes done by someone else but after noticing they had this feature I decided to use TurboTax. The price stated on the website seemed reasonable which I was OK with but of course after my taxes almost being completed and having the price reviewed with me, I discovered that it was way more than anticipated. It ended up being almost $700!! That is ridiculous. I feel like TurboTax purposely hikes up the price once you’re Almost done so you could just decide to go through with it. I have been using TurboTax for a long time now but I might end up going somewhere else next year because of this. I can get my taxes done way faster and I’m sure for way cheaper than this.
