Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax is awful Will not be using TurboTax again. They said it's free but that is so far from the truth. I was charged almost $300.00 for a simple return.i know state normally cost but federal cost me too. Then you can only ask the questions they allow so this is so bogus To Me. God only knows if I receive the tax within 21 days. Pray for me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is the best tax prep software I had taken a break to save money the last couple of years to file my taxes. This year the cheap competitor's software just wasn't working for me, it was just crappy. So I decided to return to Turbo Tax and see if it would be easier and simpler to use Turbo Tax. In the years since I last used Turbo Tax it has gotten even better than I remembered it and I finished my Federal and State Returns in just under an hour. Turbo Tax isn't the cheapest tax filing software out there, but it is the best I have found. It is so easy to use. I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future instead of trying save a few bucks and be driven insane by a sub par competitor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TT easy to use In utilizing your software for the initial time, I was most impressed with the support allowed every step of the way. Examples were given, pathways to websites to be used at the next level, and all in a way which was not condescending and let the user feel they were headed toward success. Having purchased the software at a Costco Warehouse, I did not see how I missed the step of putting in the license code. After several attempts to "InstallTurboTax.com" and after creating an account, I was led to the steps of putting in information and the steps of the return's creation. Hence, I thought the code would be put in on the final pricing step. The code was not accepted and must have been different than the license code. After over four hours of working through the finding and inputing of different steps of information, I was not going to take a chance to have to start all over. Even at double the price (having put in my credit card info.), it still seems like a reasonable amount to spend to have this year's taxes taken care of. I did want to let you know about the lack of a spot for the Mac to read a CD led me to the "Go to. InstallTurboTax.com". and I went from there...which evidently was not the download your packaging suggested.
