Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to use but not great customer service Been using TurboTax for years and generally find it to be easy to use and, when I get it at Sam's Club, pretty reasonably priced. Unfortunately, this year I needed a form that was not yet finalized when I originally wanted to file my taxes. TurboTax gave me the option to be emailed when the form was available in the software, so I signed up. After waiting two weeks, I went into TurboTax software today just to check. (I had already been past my typical filing date by a couple of weeks BEFORE this delay so I was concerned about getting everything filed before the end of season rush.) Lo and behold, the form was available and I was able to file. NEVER received the notification email!!! Leaves me wondering how long it's been ready without my knowledge. Had I not signed up for that email notification, I would have been checking every day. Don't believe them if TurboTax says they'll send you a notification...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saved me time I recently moved to a new state to a fixer upper that has taken up a great deal of my time, on top of that my workload has picked up. All good things, but at a point when my life and taxes were more complicated than I'm used to, it was a relief to handoff something and not have to worry much about it. I like doing my own taxes, usually on turbo tax because I can do most of it from my phone, but I needed the help this year. It was a bit more expensive than I would have liked, but I expect it's comparable to other tax professionals, I just didn't have to go anywhere.
