Rated 5 out of 5 by from Filing 2021 Returns was easy Prior to 2020 I had to use a CPA because of my wife's self employment and the complexity of the tax forms. My wife retired at the end of 2019, thus our tax situation became simpler. I used TurboTax in 2020, and again in 2021 to make filing my taxes cheaper than with a CPA and easier than by hand. Having TurboTax leading you by-the-hand, so to speak, is easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax could be good, but... I would recommend the service overall, but not Sara Marie. I attempted to have her replaced as my tax expert (very poor communication - two weeks to get a phone call?!), but ran into problems (with your system to initiate the change), then ran out of time and she finally did the return. Even just messages in the software were slow to be answered.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax leaves much to be desired Turbotax has all the features I need as a self-employed sole proprietor. However, some of the processes about putting the information in are a little convuluted. The help section was not working when I would click on a question (for clarification or more info). That was extremely frustrating. The cryptocurrency features could use work too. It seems to get better every year, but I still expect more out of a product at this price point.
