Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was fine as always, not great not bad TurboTax has always been somewhat cumbersome at least for me. The other issue, once again this year my efile was rejected. When I contacted TurboTax re this one of their customer service reps stated "it could x, it could be y", rather than being able to tell me where I screwed up. So that was frustrating. The most frustrating for me is that it could be so much better, more dynamic

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax return software is less intuitive I returned to doing my own taxes with Turbo Tax after two years of having them done because we had a couple complicated years. It took a bit to get going; my discount on the package I ordered was not in place when I attempted to log in again because Intuit and Turbo Tax have somewhat different URLs. But we were off and running and entering the info again (instead of it importing from the previous year) was not very hard. What's weird is that it kept jumping back to places I'd already visited and completed, wanting to Review. This made me careless because I was irritated it was pinging sections for review. The software also calculated we had spent $14,000 on medical expenses, and we had only spent about $4,000, and I could NOT find a way to see where that figure was coming from. Missing my entry of my IP Pin caused a bit of a delay - I don't remember being prompted to enter it with my information. All sorted and filing is complete, but I don't have confidence the IRS won't find something wrong with those medical expenses.
