Rated 1 out of 5 by from TurboTax Sucks and Is Not User Friendly!!!! I don't even know where to start. I have been working on my taxes for hours now. Something is wrong with the CD/download version. It only allows you to use your 2019 AGI to use for the state EIC (when the website version uses the CORRECT previous year of 2020 AGI for EIC). There was no way to fix this trust me I tried EVERYTHING. I restarted my tax return 7 times. Finally after seeing there is no live chat to assist me, I restarted one more time and uploaded my 2020 pdf tax return (you can only do this at the VERY BEGINNING if you completely restart your entire tax return and enter everything in by hand) and that finally fixed the problem. I HATE how it is so freaking difficult to go back after you've answered certain questions. You pretty much have to restart if you answer a single question wrong. So stupid. I used to love TurboTax, now I will look for another website to use. I don't care how expensive it is I will never use this again because of how you are unable to go back and change answers on questions. It simply doesn't give you the option anymore even after logging in and out and restarting that section of the return. The download version is even worse than the website one by the way.

I've been doing ny taxes for the past years with Turbo and I was excited to file my taxes this year because of the amazing option to have an expert file it for you started 2021. They were easy before. But now I don't have to do anything and I can do it from the comfort of my home. Communication is AMAZING!!! Thank you Turbo tax for the simplicity, and less hassle tax filing options.
