Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax proved to be a good choice to file my ta Turbo Tax was fairly easy to navigate. I was intimidated by calculating investments, etc. They walked me step by step through it and I felt confident it was done accurately.

Then it was $59 ; then it was $119; then it was 178+tax; finally it was $188 -- and it could have been 40 more if I had used my refund to pay the fee.... but the refund was more than a low-cost online filing service [about $400 more minus $150 more in fees.] NOT a bargain, but perhaps a value

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo tax sucks Every year there's more hidden fees. Always been free for me then last year they charged $60 each for me and my husband. This year its $60 for state and $60 for federal for both of us as well as a hidden $40 fee just for getting direct deposit?!?? Last year I'm using turbo tax! It'll be cheaper having someone do them for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Similar to H&R Block I think... Turbo Tax is great as it does all the math for you. I think the amount for extras that may be necessary are excessive. I saw no discounts for services that I could use. H&R Block is around the same pricing for the return I had to do today. I wish it was cheaper. I'd recommend friends and family if it were cheaper.
