However, I feel that the pricing of things isn't all that transparent and the total cost to get taxes fully filed is higher than it appears at first.

One thing I didnt like was for the past few years its cost now. It use to be free now its not and it has double in cost since last year. I wish you all would go back to free. It does a great job still but cost is getting steep. Might have to go somewhere next year that is cheaper.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
