Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is AWFUL - Next Year H&R Block I had a tremendous amount of difficulty in filing my returns electronically. The final step was to pay Intuit $50 to file the returns; specifically they wanted me to first access my "Intuit Account" so I entered my Username and Password, but the next screen asked me to check my email for a verification number and then enter that number, which I did; the next screen said that they wanted to "double check" my identity by sending me a text message; however, I don't have a cell phone so this was not possible; they they asked me to call a special "help" number which I did and I eventually got to speak with a representative; after over 40 minutes on the phone with this representative I was disconnected. THIS TYPE OF SERVICE IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, AND NEXT YEAR I WILL BE USING THE H&R BLOCK TAX SOFTWARE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is the way to go - no doubt. It was such an easy process and my preparer (Carissa) is incredibly knowledgeable and responsive. I knew she was handling it from top to bottom. She answered by questions quickly and succinctly. She was always clear about if and what she needed from me.

I would say this year was not as straight forward as years past. I had some problems with navigation in the program. Wasn't as easy as last year. Also did have to call and that was a little hard reaching live person but they were able to answer my question
