Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2020 tax info input: buggier & confusing Had to speak with two techs and second one had to send me to a tax expert. Not due to complicated tax situations, but because Turbotax input process had some dead-ends where there was no clarification about what Turbotax was asking for or why inputting (any) dollar value was being rejected. Initially it established I was clearly a candidate for the standard deduction, but at the end there were all these deduction items to review and no helpful prompts for some. That is where I got totally tangled up, even though my 2020 tax filing situation was very basic compared to most years. Also at one point it told me I was doing the free-version of Turbotax - which was not true. This negative review in no way is criticism of the techs and tax accountant who rescued me. They were professional and excellent, but their help should not have been needed by a 7-year user with an unusually straightforward tax situation. If I encounter similar issues next year, I will back-out and try some other product.
