Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buggy, Buggy Buggy So this year (2022) my TT home and Business was really Buggy. Wouldnt save correctly. Wouldnt remember information from one session to another session. Finally I had to give up and start a new return and finish it in one session to be successful. I have 7 seperate businesses and weird income but this is really dumb stuff to have a problem with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from TT is good for most things but not college savings If you are spending your kids college saving, it does not calculate it easily or even correctly. For my return it kept putting in $10,000 for an education credit that it knew I was not taking. When I upgraded so I could talk to an expert, he wasted an hour of my day and still could not help. I eventually found the answer on the internet...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax is going downhill Questionnaires feel like labyrinths at times -especially the HSA section. Trying to add multiple 1099-SA forms for each employer's HSA was exhausting. Wizards are trying to be too smart. Integrations for crypto are much more painful than last year, somehow. I am left wondering if I should have just done a pen-and-paper filing. Auto-fetching of W2s remains nice, but seems insufficient for the cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient, reliable, and fairly easy to use Using Turbo Tax year after year is a convenient and reliable way to handle taxes each year. It seems to get a little easier to use, but I always have at least one thing that has to be redone or monkeyed with.

Features we have used: mother-in-law rental; self-employment; energy investment tax credit. Usually it explains what applies to us well enough to make the job less stressful.
