Rated 1 out of 5 by from Continues to Mislead on Price at Every Turn Whatever you think you're going to pay to file through TurboTax when you start the process, plan on paying much more. They continue to mislead when it comes to price every chance they get. First it's free, then it's a required upgrade for $39, then $39 more for a state return, and oh, how about a surprise $39 fee at the very end when you pick to pay with your return. Thankfully I declined the third party agreement afterwards to get the option to pay via credit card and save $39, but most wouldn't know to do that and that seems to be the only way to get the chance to pick a different option after they try to slide an extra fee in without you noticing. Want some help? You're going to have to close a popup to try to get you to upgrade for no reason first. Embarrassing. I've only continued to use them because they have my tax history, and they do make the whole process very easy, but they get more deceitful every year so this will certainly be my last as a customer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rejected because it missed my healthcare form I had my federal return rejected because TurboTax didn't check to see if my marketplace healthcare form was included. How can it miss something so basic? I'm not sure it's worth all the money, even at the cheapest price; I should have just used a free version.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from they became money hungry I used to loved them but lately they only want your money, every few minutes they want to charge you for "defending" and/or expert advice. i used to file really simple, I only paid for the states and it was great but the new turbotax wants you to pay for "finding more discounts" and not finding a thing. lol
