Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy, Fast and Accurate I have been filing my taxes for the last 5 years with turbo tax and I can't complaint. Its user friendly and they have explanations for each topic in case you want mote details in the topic. I complete my taxes in a 123 and i know they are accurate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax could be smarter Although it always gets the job done & is likely better than the rest, there already always some frustrating moments during its use. Here are a few items;: Lately every time I've gone to file electronically & entered all data, it decides that some "update" is needed. This in in spite of the fact that I just opened the app an hour or two ago. Clearly it should have done the update at that point, instead of rejecting the transfer to the IRS & making me go through an update & re-file attempt. It would be nice to select from ONLY applicable forms on the forms mode list. When an error is detected, more info than just line X in form Z needs work would be useful. The silly page that claims you MAY be entitled to a tax break, then immediately says that you don't as soon as you click on continue is just dumb. Nothing changed from one moment to the next. Printing "tax return only" should not add any sheets that are not required to file. Very few people itemize anymore. There should be a question that asks if you want to even consider itemizing & if you answer 'NO", it would skip all itemizing questions other than if you have charitable deductions. When downloading date from a broker, the window showing the broker accounts is too narrow, making it impossible to read the accounts #s, so that you can uncheck those that do not apply. Deciding to NOT do estimated taxes or pick a single or different amounts should be simpler.
