Rated 2 out of 5 by from Virginia State Return Issues I spent over 3 hours trying to get help because TurboTax was forcing me to file a 502A which I did not need to file. The software would not let me file without completing this form...finally I was able to get help from others who were having the same issue. TurboTax "contact us" was no help at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love TurboTax I used to use a CPA to file my taxes. You have to organize all of your information. Take it to the CPA and he puts it into his tax file program, probably Tubo Tax, and charges around $200.00!! Turbo Tax is well organized and does a great job of assisting you enter the data that you have. It does not take that much time to use and file with Turbo Tax. You get a good idea of what is required and needed through this program.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very helpful but not quite perfect TurboTax is awesome in helping gather and present information, providing look-up from last year's return, asking pertinent questions, and sorting through the myriad tax forms and getting the in the right place. BUT, I made some errors which TurboTax did not catch (e/g, entered the same number on two different forms), and I only caught it through careful review of my own. Nevertheless, this is an excellent product that takes most of the headaches out of tax returns.
