Rated 2 out of 5 by from THE EXTRA FEES ARE BULL**** It is already irritating enough that at every step they try to get the user to upgrade to a service they either don't really need, because if the user wanted to use a tax advisor they would select that from the start. The tax service worked well enough but angling for extra money is just greasy. If you don't have an extra $120 lying around to pay upfront be prepared to spend another $40 for them to take it out of you tax returns. They don't even have the common decency to tell you right up front on the page where they ask for which way the user would like to pay. Instead they sneak it in on the last page before you submit your taxes and if your not paying attention you're out that money. By the way, why do they need an extra $40 fee for the tax service, that you are already agreeing to pay for, just to take a guaranteed payment from the tax return?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from turbo tax is good for very basic simple taxes for the past 4 years or so i've always used turbotax without a problem. very easy to plug in info. this year was a bit more complicated with entering info from selling stock shares. i dont feel very confident that i filed my taxes correctly so i guess ill just wait and see.
