Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needs simple way to remove unwanted state software TT has saved me many hours and dollars since 1996, the first year that I switched from doing taxes by hand with a calculator and forms. Only reason I took 1 star was that a simple fix that has been complained about by many TT users for years has not been done. When a state program is no longer needed it can't be removed. It reloads and updates year, after year, after year. I have 4 states that I don't need any more. But can't get rid of them. Help desk removed the data file but at next start up the state reloaded the shell and keeps updating the solftware.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Got it done I don't like how it took 4 different people to get my return done. I typically do my own taxes, but this was the first year of my business and I wanted help. I'm glad I didn't have to do it, but I felt like it was way more stressful until the last lady finally told me we were done. I honestly don't know if I will use this again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lowering the quality of the selfservice to charge I think Turbo tax is lowering the quality of the basic self service. My experience this year was surprisingly bad. The usual rep available to review did not the usual thorough review I was used to receive and she directed me to a "expert tax" for a complete review. I used to get this complete review step by step with the basic service. This year, I had to go to a painful process of waiting and talking via email, not even instant chat to get my answers responded.
