Rated 4 out of 5 by from needs some programming updates I entered the CC information very first when I got started but your program doesn't save for the end as an option. I shouldn't have to enter it twice. My driver's license should be remember as well from last year.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from WeBull Options Inconvenience Most of the questions and forms transferred over well enough and it was a 5-star experience for me until I got to do a "date acquisition" question for some options I purchased with an expiry of the following year. I can see on my tax document from WeBull / Apex Clearing Corporation that I purchased these in 2020, but TurboTax appeared to import them with the purchase date in 2021. The part where everything falls apart is, the page to validate the stock entries took approximately 10 minutes to load up on multiple PCs on multiple browsers with a "page is not responding message" if I try to click on it, never loaded on mobile app after multiple attempts each over 15 minutes, and when it did display on PC, had edit fields, buttons, and text on top of one another. It referenced a stock that says it cannot be purchased in 2021 and appeared to reference one stock in particular. Attempting to scroll down to that stock, it appeared it was purchased in 2020, so I'm confused. I type in the 2020 purchase date, click submit. Only to wait again another 10+ minutes for the page to refresh with the same message. So after a while, I start doing other things while waiting for the page to load, but if I didn't come back right in time, I would get signed out for time out. I tried this over ten more times across multiple weeks with some attempts to get assistance, but nothing quite working. So here I am, going through the line items manually for stock portion of TurboTax in the browser, clicking on each line item to check the purchase date since only the sell date is listed in the interface. And then if I click Back out of a record from page 2...15, I am placed back on page 1 instead of returning to the page I left off at. And it's around that time I discovered options I purchased that would have expired in 2021 were the culprit, which helped me narrow down the entries faster. When checking WeBull's tax document, saw they had the correct purchase date, so I'm left with only TurboTax to direct these negative energies for the longest tax filing year I've ever done. Having said all that, I'll probably just end up using them again, hoping they improve the interface for this. Tried another service one year and having to retype all the information was inconvenient enough that I came crawling back to TurboTax for the convenience. Either that or I just stop buying leaps or 60+ day options on WeBull once we're near the end of the year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from okay tax prep Have used turbo tax for years. But this year's taxes were more complex. I sold my home and turbo tax did not complete a Schedule D or 8949 form. The only reason it did not was because I checked the box "no" did not receive a 1099S for the sale. Turbo tax comes back and says great, you did not have any gains and not necessary to report. Well IRS sent me a letter indicating that I failed to report the gain on the sale of my home. IRS received the 1099S. No matter what you must file a schedule D and 8949 form. Turbo tax should update their programming accordingly whether you have a 1099S or not.
